Banana cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream. It's a mouthful, but it's definitely less than the number of these gems that you will have at a go.
I can't believe my life in poly is over. Has 3 years yet again passed me by? How is it that time, like water, glides through the contours of my fingers, only to hit the floor and evaporate? Does it not linger? That said, it has been a wonderful 3 years in Singapore Poly - the scholarship, friends that I've made and with all my heart intend to keep, some of the best lecturers (and the unbelievable ones), the food oh my god the food - I'm not sure if I'm ready to leave it all behind just yet.
Nonetheless, I look forward to my time in NTU/NIE where I will continue enriching myself and return the favour when I graduate. I'm going to be a teacher! Despite the frowns and the skepticism I have taken in with no some offence (teachers have no future. Seriously, guys?) I am standing with my decision to become an arts teacher. Geography, history, languages. All the subjects I love. All of which also have no relevance (at all) to my diploma. #livelifedangerously
These cupcakes were meant to be for my class party next Monday but things changed when I tasted them myself. Perhaps another batch for them, if the bananas ripen to blackness by then.

ReplyDeleteJust wondering, is buttermilk readily available at major supermarkets? Tried finding the last time but failed Dojng so:(
Thank you, glad I can be of help :) Buttermilk can be found in Cold Storage (though I'm not entirely sure it can be found in all outlets). Specialty stores like Phoon Huat have it too. You could also make your own buttermilk like I do by adding a tablespoon of distilled white vinegar for every cup of milk.
