And so I've graduated with a diploma (and a certificate in Psychology). It all feels so surreal. I still can't believe I've graduated from SP. Just yesterday I was still in secondary school, pondering over polytechnic courses and suddenly, I'm awaiting university to commence. It's all too fast.

Tomorrow, at this time, I'll be in the land of sawadeeka and kapunka. I'm so excited!!! Tomorrow, I'll also be officially graduating from school. I'm feeling rather ambivalent about graduation.. on one hand, I'm simply over the moon about clearing my three years in Singapore Polytechnic; on the other I'm dreadful because some of the best friends I have made in school, well, we're all going separate ways. No joke. I made these matcha muffins in slight gloom, mirroring the threatening skies.

I'm running out of ideas to bake at work :( I hate repeating bakes (except well, John Barrowman's banana bread which I automatically make when there are ripened bananas to spare). I made these cinnamon streusel muffins this week, reminiscing how I used to eat them a lot of streusel-related bakes when I was a kid. Dude it's streusel - you've not lived if you haven't had streusel.

marble pound cake

The first time I made this marble cake was the day I visited my granddad at the hospital. He wasn't in a good place, and was awaiting a bypass. Mom sliced him small pieces because he loved eating anything that wasn't cooked by grandma (a joke that has been brought up so often it's become factual). It is now 3 weeks later and my granddad is looking much better. I'd like to think this traditional bake, which received praises from my immediate relatives, gave everyone a boost that night because trust me, they looked completely sunken.
